Baked With Heart, Shared With Love

Daisy Cakes began in Pauline, South Carolina, with a simple belief that dessert should make people feel cared for. Every cake we bake comes from time-honored family recipes passed down through generations of Southern women who cooked with intention and love.
We still bake the same way today. Our cakes are mixed, layered, frosted, and packed by hand, using fresh ingredients and a whole lot of heart. Whether you order a classic four-layer cake, a Minikin, or one of our specialty desserts, you are getting something made the old-fashioned way. Our goal is to bring a little joy to your table, wherever you are. One slice at a time.

The Heart Behind Daisy Cakes

Kim Nelson grew up learning the art of Southern baking from her mother Geraldine and Great Aunt Daisy, two women whose recipes carried comfort, tradition, and family memories. Their influence shaped Kim's love for baking and inspired her to share these cherished cakes with the world.
In 2009, Kim turned those family traditions into Daisy Cakes, and her heartfelt approach captured national attention on Shark Tank. But long before the cameras, Kim was already doing what she does best. Baking with care, honoring her family's recipes, and keeping Southern hospitality at the center of everything she makes. Today, Kim continues to guide Daisy Cakes with the same values she was raised with. Every cake tells a story, and every order is a chance to share her family's legacy of love.
